INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup Tapioca Black Pearls
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 bags of black tea (I like English Breakfast)
2-3 teaspoons sugar or simple syrup
2-3 tablespoons half and half
Ice
DIRECTIONS
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Add tapioca pearls and boil for 4 minutes.
Turn off the heat and continue to cook for 4 minutes.
Drain boba pearls from the water and place into a bowl.
Add brown sugar and mix until the sugar is melted. Set aside.
Brew two bags of black tea in a mug and steep for 5-10 minutes. You’ll want it to be pretty strong.
Sweeten the tea with sugar or simple syrup and add the half and half.
In your boba cup, layer the sweetened boba, a few cubes of ice and pour the tea over the ice.
Use a boba straw to make sure you get all that boba in your sips!
